Any Female amateur golfer, residing in North Texas who maintains a handicap index of 12.0 or less, is eligible to join LAGA™.

If you meet the eligibility requirements of residing in North Texas and have a handicap index of 12.0 or less, fill out the Membership form at the bottom of this page.  Don't worry, it takes less than 5 minutes to complete and send it, we promise!

Texas is a pretty big state (as we all know).  If you live in Waco or anywhere north you are considered to be in North Texas and may join LAGA™

The 2025 membership fee is $100 if paid by Feb 28th. $110 if paid after this date

We play some of the top private and public courses in North Texas for a very affordable price, with morning and afternoon tee times during the week and some weekends. Our member section of the website provides a list of courses noting yardage/slope/rating of the courses we play.

Our play days are gross score only and played under USGA rules. Each play day has a "game of the day" which is set by the play day host. Winners usually receive golf gift cards

Every play day includes the green fee,cart fee and range balls. On average we pay $35-40. At each play day you will check in at the pro shop and pay for your round. Most clubs accept cash, credit card or charge back to your home club. 

There is an optional skins game (cash only) at each play day for $3 per player.

We have approximately 30 play days per year. Typically, our season is from April through September, with at least 1 play day per week.

Today, our membership includes over 70 players from 30 different golf courses in the North Texas area. Our members range in age from their 20's to 70's and include several Local, State and National Championship winners

All players are encouraged not to pick up. If a player picks up on any hole, they become ineligible for any play day prizes. When that score is posted the player will record an X and must post that score for handicap purposes with her appropriate ESC maximum

As we all know, golf is a game of honor.  Because of this, we ask that members self-police their USGA handicap/index and not enter an event unless they have a 12.0 index or under.  Play day entries are open to those whose handicap index does not exceed 12.0 under the World Handicap System at the time of sign up for each play day.

Texas Cup is our official end of the year golf tournament.  This exciting event takes place in the fall, and it formatted after the Ryder Cup: 12 women from North Texas compete against 12 women from South Texas.  The team for North Texas is picked based on playday score differential from 6 lowest rounds.  For more information such as official rules, leaderboard, and much more, please click on the Texas Cup link to your left .
